Following the Government announcement this evening that schools will be open to all children from 8th March, please bear with us while we make final arrangements.
We will be in touch via Facebook, Seesaw and the website to give more information over the coming days as to how this will happen as safely as possible at Wincheap.
We very much look forward to welcoming all our children back from that date. Thank you!
Good morning!
Whilst some of the snow has cleared, we are now concerned that many of the routes into school are very icy. We are still running school with few staff so the same advice applies in that we would be grateful if you would keep children at home where you can. If you need to send them in, please could we ask once again that they bring spare clothes and dress warmly.
Please also be very careful on the pavements as you make your way in. Thank you for your patience this week.
With the snowfall overnight, please could we reiterate to all parents of children who have been attending school this term, that school is open today only for those critical workers with no other alternative. With very few staff able to make it in and being unable to mix bubbles, staffing capacity is very low. We will be providing childcare only.
As before - please send children in in warm clothes and with a change of clothes (and wellies where possible) so that they can play in the snow. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you for your patience.
