Online Safety
It’s essential to be realistic - banning the internet or technology will not work and it often makes a child less likely to report a problem. Educating children around safe use is essential.
Internet Safety is an integral part of teaching and learning at Wincheap Foundation Primary School. From Foundation Stage to Year 6 children regularly receive lessons in online-safety as well as termly assemblies. Online-safety is embedded in our school life.
Our Children have regular access to the internet as part of their learning and our curriculum teaches and encourages responsible online behaviour ensuring children are allowed to enhance their learning safely through the use of technology.
